Description
Black and white photograph of a family group consisting of three women and a man, with two children, outside a stone dwelling with a white picket fence. The man and one of the women are holding bicycles, and the children are standing on a bench, with one of the women seated beside them and another woman seated behind. They are possibly the Gilmore family. On the reverse is written 'With love from Violet [Gilmore], Feb 1902, Hatfield - Herts'. The photograph is mounted onto a card backing. The front of the mount features embossed flowers.
