Description
Carte de visite portrait of a woman wearing a dark dress with a row of large buttons in the centre, and two wider bands at each side. A white collar is at her neck, and she wears a narrow dark choker. She has ringleted hair, with short ringlets across her fringe. She bears some resemblance to Sophia Kerr Taylor. The photograph is mounted onto a card backing, onto the rear of which is printed the details of the photographer, the American Photographic Company of Auckland.
