Description
Wallpaper fragment; consisting of a chevron or diamond pattern in beige, buff, green and orange outlined in gilt. It has the BCM / WPM ['Wall Paper Manufacturers'] registration number 814524. The sample was probably the paper in the 'ballroom' of Alberton House when the NZHPT took it over, as it is visible behind the power board and in photographs. Made circa 1935-1939.
