Description
Wallpaper roll; consisting of a formal design of 'cretonne' floral with red roses, blue cornflowers, grey and lavender flowers, green leaves and grey scroll-type motifs, all outlined in brown on a beige ground with a superimposed white 'textile' pattern. The paper dates to the 1920s, and came from a now demolished house in Preston Street, Timaru, which was built in the 1890s.
