Description
Wallpaper fragment; a brown paper with vertical patterned stripes at wide intervals. The stripes are black and brown with the occasional motif of fruit in red, white and green, in brown rectangular enclosures. The ground is brown with superimposed a fine black 'textured' design. It is one of three layers of paper (with GH.495, GH.526, GH.576, GH.600) from a houses at 10 Taft Street, Brooklyn, in Wellington, and was made circa 1910. It is also found in pattern book GH.1001.
