Description

Wallpaper fragment; featuring a formal design of linked circles containing formal flower emblems of daisy and wild rose, possibly stencilled, on a natural ground. It is possibly a ceiling paper. This piece is on scrim, adjoining GH.512 and under GH.524. It is from a house built in 1895 or 1898, at Ohiro Bay Road, Owhiro Bay, Wellington. The fragment itself dates to circa 1895-1905.
