Wallpaper pattern book; a small book with a red cover. Dates of the patterns within are verified as being between 1927 - 1930. Inside the front cover is written 'E. Battersby 67 Jackson St. Petone' and inside the back cover is written 'S/S Rotorua' and Battersby’s shipping mark. The price range for papers is from 2/- to 5/-, with one item priced at 20/-. The papers consist of borders and other papers, with cut-out designs, mottles, checks, 'textile' effects, geometric designs, floral designs, bird, foliate and moiré designs.
