Description
Kerikeri basin with Stone Store, church and Kemp House, wharf jetty and buildings across the rond from store. Shows original foreshore picket fence. Two large gumtrees between the Church and Stone Store. A willow close to the Stone Store in the Kemp House front garden. Stone Store has its chimney, removed about 1888. Jetty over the water in front of the Stone Store. Jetty built by John Black about 1888 to transport Kauri gum from Store to waiting shipping. Original mission buildings to the left of the store and jetty. Hills in a low scrub.
