Description
Kemp House photographed from across the river, dated after 1912. Trees obscure front of house, roof and upstairs windows visible, also north verandah and kitchen. Verandah roof iron, main roof shingled. Picket fence divides house from riverbank. A structure, possibly a food safe is at the fence. St James church visible on the hill. The photograph is captioned 'The Oldest House in N.Z. / Kerikeri Bay of Islands F.G.R...' in the bottom right corner.
