Description
Ceiling paper fragment; of a design known as 'The Esmond'. A heavily embossed lignomur (pâpier maché, an anaglypta or lincrusta type), in a cream colour. The design consists of rectangular enclosures with stylized floral emblems and foliage. This is possibly a dado. Printed on the paper is ' R246510'. Made circa 1895.
