Description
A certificate awarded to Caroline Lush by The New Zealand Art Student's Association for her entry of Christmas cards. The certificate was awarded in 1884. The certificate bears a printed illustration of a carved waka and paddle set amongst trees in the foreground, along with a painters stool, palette and folio. In the background is a coastal scene with rock with a hole in it and a beach with several waka and some people included.
